Bank of America ROVAL 400 Preview

Until we start racing in mazes and figure eights, this is about as wacky as we can do. Other than 20+ cautions, I really have no idea what to expect this weekend, so here are the road course facts. Common sense tells us to look to reliable veterans, especially those who have demonstrated patience in setting up passes, and perhaps even anger management skills. If we consider this year’s Watkins Glen and Sonoma results next to these rankings, I’d add Kyle Larson and Brad Keselowski to the list of possible candidates, and put an asterisk next to Logano for comparative under-performance.
