Nascar Pools Online Privacy Policy

If you require any more information or have any questions about our privacy policy, please feel free to contact us.

At NascarPoolsOnline.com (NPO), we respect your privacy while providing you with our service. This privacy policy document outlines the types of personal information that is received and collected by NPO and how it is used.

Personal Information

As we respect the privacy of our visitors, we ask only for minimal personal information used to identify you including, but not limited to, your username, name, address, e-mail address and, if you sign up for SMS pick reminders, your mobile phone number. This information is used solely for the purposes of administering the website and will not be sold, distributed or displayed to any entities or individuals outside of Nascar Pools Online, except the service providers named in this policy who help us run the site. The manager or administrator of any pool you are a member of will also have access to your name and email address, for the purpose of administering their pool. Pool managers cannot see your mobile phone number. Other members of any pool you are a member of will be able to see your name and username, but not your personal information.

Log Files

Like many other Web sites, Nascar Pools Online makes use of log files. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol ( IP ) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider ( ISP ), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement around the site, and gather demographic information. IP addresses, and other such information are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.

Why are we collecting this information?

Collecting your email address enables us to make the site easier to use for you. For example, if you forget your password, the website can automatically send you a new password email.

Collecting the anonymous demographic and behavioural information from the log files, assists us in improving our service. Knowing where visitors spend a lot of time on the site, what type of browsers they use, etc., is very valuable when planning and developing upgrades and adding new features.

Text Message (SMS) Reminders

If your pool offers SMS pick reminders and you choose to sign up, we collect your mobile phone number and a record of your consent (the date, time and IP address of your opt-in). Providing a mobile number is optional and is never required to create an account, join a pool or make a purchase.

We use your mobile number only to send the pick reminders you signed up for and related service messages, such as a verification code or a confirmation that you have opted in or out. We do not use it for marketing.

We share your mobile number only with our SMS provider, Twilio, for the sole purpose of delivering our messages to you.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message or by turning off SMS reminders in your profile. After you opt out, we keep only a record of the opt-out so that we do not text you again. You can ask us to delete your mobile number at any time through our contact page.

Changes to our policy will be displayed and highlighted on this page.
